Who We Are

Welcome to Go Apologetics. “Apologetics” comes from the Greek word “apologia” which means a verbal defense. This comes from the verse 1 Peter 3:15 “but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence”. Let us always remember the last part- gentleness (love) and reverence.

Evan Dickens, Founder/Writer

Hello, I’m Evan Dickens, the founder of Go Apologetics. Here are some personal notes. I have a wife and a son. I’m an active member in a local Baptist church in Griffin, GA. The top two things in my life are God and Family. I also love community. I love discussing theology, current events, and travel.

This blog exists to exalt the name of Christ and give God glory. This was an idea of mine for so long. I’ve created several blogs, mostly with bad names and old articles. I hope this blog blesses you, teaches you, and encourages you to share your faith and knowledge with others.
